The rotating roster being Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday. Hours will be either 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm. Saturday hours when rostered on are 9:00am – 5:00pm.We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Youth Worker to join our dynamic team at BeyondYJS. As a Youth Worker, you will provide invaluable rehabilitation and emotional wellbeing services to young people (10–18 years) and their families. This role involves collaborating within an integrated service delivery framework, catering to youth involved in the justice system. You will utilise your expertise to engage with culturally diverse backgrounds and deliver impactful support within community, home, and agency settings. This will involve outreach services to young people at their place of living in the community or in custody. The aim of this initiative is to:Divert young people away from the criminal justice system;Provide programs and services for young people on orders in the community;Provide programs and services for young people in custody; andIncrease public safetyThis multi-faceted role will provide you with plenty of opportunity for variety in your work as well as the challenge of being part of an exciting program.
