YPARC - Psychiatrist - Orygen
Orygen Recovery (YPARC) is a sub-acute bed-based option within the Orygen continuum of care. It is an early intervention, short-term, recovery-focussed residential service providing a youth friendly therapeutic environment. YPARC supports young people experiencing significant mental health problems who are either leaving an acute hospital inpatient setting or who would benefit from 24-hour support to avoid a hospital admission or as an early intervention. It provides a more intensive residential service for up to 28 days to benefit the young person to achieve recovery goals and support their treatment.

The Consultant Psychiatrist at Orygen Recovery is a clinical leadership position within Orygen and is responsible for demonstrating high standards of clinical care, team leadership and professional values in order to achieve best outcomes for our clients and their carers. The Consultant Psychiatrist will work closely with another Orygen Recovery (YPARC) consultant and report to the Orygen Recovery leadership, Director of Clinical Service and Chief of Clinical Practice.
