- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment's and process
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in collaboration with colleagues.
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.
- Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available.
- Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Prepare Kitchen roster.
- Assist in menu planning and maintain open communication with staff and management along with training staff and apprentices.
- Minimizing cost by minimizing wastage.
- Cook food using grill, oven and pans and regulating temperatures.
- Operating and maintaining Kitchen equipment including Knifes, microwaves and dough maker.
