As a 2IC / Assistant Director, your responsibilities may include overseeing the overall management of the childcare centre. You will assist and oversee the development and implementation of learning programs. In maintaining accurate records, communicating with staff members, and staying informed about changes in childcare regulations and policies.
About you:
- Available to work Full time
- Have an ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff members
- Work alongside the Centre Manager, assisting with administration and leadership duties
- ACECQA Approved Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Line Leader and OWNA
- High level of verbal and written communication
- Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
- Ability to supervise daily operations and fulfil regulatory documentation
- A passionate, and driven individual
- Trustworthy, dedicated and positive team player
- Experience in a similar role advantageous
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current approved First Aid Certificate
- Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Willing to obtain a Police Check
- Immediate start

- Lead, develop and implement effective and valuable educational programs within the service
- Ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework
- Encourage and demonstrate appropriate and respectful communication and behaviours within the service
