Our client operates a successful family owned Engineering Fabrication business located in Wangaratta. They are on the hunt for a highly motivated and enthusiastic 2nd or 3rd year Engineering Fabrication apprentice to join their team.
The Role
This role comes with a lot of variety and will expose you to all aspects of the trade. Your responsibilities will include:
- Metal Fabrication and welding
- Sheet Metal work
- Plasma cutting - use of computer controlled equipment
- Plan and organise work
- Read and interpret plans
- Carry out measurements and calculations

- Be prepared for physical work
- Technically savvy with an interest in computer graphics
- Confident using computers and other technology
- A passion for the industry and a keen interest in welding
- The ability to follow instructions

This is an opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience while working towards a Certificate III Engineering Fabrication Trade - MEM30319.
Working full time Monday - Friday, you will be given time on the job to attend TAFE. You will also have the support of a Squad Mentor who will visit you on site on a regular basis throughout your Apprenticeship.
