5-Axis CNC Programmer / Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Operator to join our business within our Product Development Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check for job allocation/priorities with: Automotive PD Manager, CNC Manager
- Liaise with CAD designers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
- Accurate manufacture of machining tools, moulds, fixtures-alloy, plastics, timber and composites
- Basic maintenance on ARES and BACCI CNC machine
- Assist production team with day-to-day programming and operation
- Read/analyze/understand and interpret drawings
- Set out jobs and provide accurate detailed cutting lists/drawings for manufacturing and installing
- Provide advice on machinery and process improvement initiatives
- Managing a small team of CNC operators
About you:
- Good level of computer literacy with Microsoft word, excel etc.
- Good understanding of G-code, including canned cycles
- Offline toolpathing with NX software
- Hold a Certificate IV in Engineering (CNC Programming)
- 5 years of CNC programming experience in the manufacturing industry
- Competent in the use of NX CAD/CAM
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Committed to safe work practices
- Experience managing a small team of CNC operators
