SalaryOur client is leading manufacturer of pet tags, dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. As we expand and grow, we are seeking multiple candidates for the role of General Hand to join our dynamic team. The role entails operating laser marking machines in a printing environment for a company that manufactures tags for pets.
Multiple x Afternoon shift 2:00pm to 9:30pm weekdays - Pay - $34.85/hrMultiple x Morning shift 6:00am to 2:00pm weekdays - Pay $29.4/hr
Printing environment operating laser marking machines.
Primary Activities - Accountabilities
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
- Machine operator role working in small production printing team.
- Operate marking machines in the correct manner, as instructed, to the maximum efficiency.
- Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices.
- Maintain good quality control of printed products by careful interpretation of job sheet details and inspection of printed tags.
- Promptly raise all machine issues, malfunctions, or product quality concerns with your supervisor.
- Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained around production machine.
- Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents.
- Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies.

Additional Information:
- Our client is relocating the warehouse in a few months, so flexibility to travel between locations in Capalaba and Murarrie may be required.
