Key Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for and deliver the following functions:
- Oversee the NFSA’s recruitment, WHS, conditions of service, staff development, performance and code of conduct matters and other HR related services.
- Manage and supervise an operational team of 4 staff.
- Oversee recruitment activities including participation on selection committees.
- Support organisational change management initiatives as required.
- Deliver key projects such as improvements in performance management, induction, onboarding, recruitment improvements to enhance the services the P&C team deliver
- Build and sustain relationships with a range of stakeholders across the NFSA to achieve outcomes.
- Provide accurate and timely advice and reports on HR services to NFSA Senior Executive and management, as required.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate capacity against the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and requirements, and experience delivering HR services within an APS environment or institutional structure,
- Experience in delivering high quality services or complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines,
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team to deliver results,
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate appropriately complex concepts to a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, and to embrace change with positivity and optimism,
- Demonstrated ability to build a strong network of relationships to support organisational outcomes, and to collaborate with a range of stakeholders.
