We have partnered with a government department who are working through a busy time of change and transformation.
Working as part of a collaborative HR team they require an experienced HR generalist to join their team.
Your new role
Key responsibilities will include:
Working within the HR team and providing support to the Principal HR Business Partner, some key duties will include:
Providing operationally focused HR advisory and consultancy services, particularly in the areas of industrial and employee relations, complex case management, performance management, industrial instruments, HR policy and procedures
Providing performance and development advice and support to managers and employees
Managing key projects relating to employment arrangements and HR
What you'll need to succeed
Your key attributes for success in this role will include:
Experience providing HR advisory and consultancy services within the Queensland State Government is desirable
Tertiary qualifications within HR or a related discipline
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret relevant industrial acts, awards, and frameworks
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult with a wide range of stakeholders
