The role of the Senior Implementation Consultant (HR Technology) is to lead and deliver medium to high complexity talent technology implementation, optimizations, selection, and remediation projects having deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledge in multiple tools. The Senior Consultant has overall accountability for delivering project oversight and management as well as operational, functional, and integration/technical consultation. The size, scope, and complexity of projects will typically consist of enterprise organizations with deployments in one or more countries; projects will vary based upon client engagements.

The Senior Implementation Consultant (HR Technology) is responsible for overseeing and guiding team members within a project or as their direct supervisor. The Senior Consultant reports to a Senior Manager or Head of Technology Advisory and will engage with client, technology partner, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns delivery of one or more active technology implementations at any given time, performing project management, process design, technology design, change management guidance, business requirements documentation, test plans, data migration strategy design, and training plans
  • Creates and manages the project plans for technology implementations or optimizations
  • Facilitates sprint planning sessions and iterations in line with overall project approach
  • Leads discovery and technology design with key stakeholders, in line with contractual obligations
  • Presents and validates design with key client stakeholders and technology vendor partners
  • Advise on functional and technical integration capabilities, including gathering requirements and liaising between client and integration developers
  • Produces clear and concise design, requirements, testing, and training documentation
  • Develops test strategy and creates or manages the creation of test scenarios and scripts in partnership with the technology partner(s) and client
  • Creates and manages cutover checklists for tech implementation and optimization projects
  • Leads or provides input to the client on system training and enablement
  • Facilitates handover and knowledge transfer with the client
  • Leads or contributes to lessons learned exercises, documenting and sharing output for ongoing development
  • Identifies, documents and mitigates risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change impacts
  • Develops weekly project updates when leading projects; contributes to weekly project updates when leading a workstream as part of a larger transformation
  • Identifies and manages or partners with leadership to manage change requests
  • Maintain certification and deep platform SME in two talent technologies with ability to articulate technology vendor roadmaps
  • Support Consultants and Analysts with managing change requests with clients and technology partners
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities to take on stretch assignment projects

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Preferably someone with working knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Experience working in a project environment and autonomously manage end-to-end projects
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead talent technology implementations
  • Proven ability of managing stakeholder relationships and expectations at multiple levels; inclusive of excellent communication skills
  • Experience in leading technical architecture design, project plans, test scripts, data migration plans, and integration business requirements
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, supporting multiple deliverables and activities at any point in time
  • Experience in one or more project delivery methodologies (i.e. PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
  • Experience of preparing and delivering client presentations
  • Ability to obtain agreement on key decisions with sign off from stakeholders on functional design, technical design, and process design
  • Ability to playback discovery, design, strategic concepts, and modification opportunities in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and written
  • Capable to work productively in a purely remote environment
