Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme
Your opportunity:
- To enhance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in rural communities in the Wide Bay (based in Gayndah and also servicing Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Biggenden, Childers, Gin Gin and Mt Perry).
- This position is an Advanced Health Worker position and particularly focuses on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people including youth and adolescents and those living with chronic conditions and meeting Key Performance Indicators as required by the Wide Bay Hospital Health Service.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $86,646 p.a., comprising salary between $71,020 - $75,941 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HW4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
