About the Role
- Deliver specialised social work clinical and consultancy services to individuals and groups internal and external to Metro South Hospital and Health Service in relation to psychosocial aspects of spinal cord injury rehabilitation in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
- Provide specialised/advanced clinical advice and direction to a team of Social Workers and allied health assistant to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
- Prepare, analyse and interpret data and trends for caseload allocation, service improvement, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and expertise obtained through significant professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications and actively pursues development and learning opportunities, including contribution to training of Social Workers and other health professionals.
