The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader, Stores - this is a great opportunity for you to join our supportive Stores team where you will provide a customer-focused service to our business. A typical day in this role may include:
- Preparing items for delivery;
- Efficiently loading and unloading items;
- Transporting items and spare parts in a safe and timely manner to internal and external customers;
- Managing the storage and transportation of packaged raw materials (stock take, pallet control and logistics); and
- Receiving, storing, issuing, delivering and collecting goods in a safe and efficient manner;
- Entering and maintaining details of incoming/outgoing goods, requisitions and invoices in a computerised receivables system.
This is a full time, fixed term opportunity for 18 months.
Do you have the following skills, experience & attributes?
- Experience within a similar warehousing or distribution role, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing business;
- A current manual driver's licence (Forklift licence & MR truck licence is desirable but not essential);
- Be well organised with the ability to work follow instructions and work in a team;
- Good communication skills;
- Customer Service focused;
- Competence using computerised systems.
