About the role:

As the Academic lead, you will be responsible for coordinating research opportunities that enhance GPAC's focus areas, particularly around governance thinking and practice, reasoned disagreement, and public debate. You'll work in an interdisciplinary fashion with close collaboration with internal and external academics, as well as leading global business figures across a range of sectors and regions. The role will report directly to the Director of GPAC and has considerable scope to be shaped by the person. The Academic Lead is an exciting new position leading the globally oriented research agenda and industry engagement activities of the newly established Governance and Public Affairs Centre (GPAC).

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $168,512 - $182,954 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $142,625 - $154,969 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading or total remuneration valued to $190,982 - $210,230 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The level of appointment will be determined based on the level of experience, skills and capability of the successful candidate.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
