The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Academic Services, an opportunity now exists within the Program Management team on a permanent basis to contribute to the delivery of a client centred service culture within MBS that is responsive to stakeholder needs and proactive and dedicated to the delivery of high quality services.
Working across several professional areas within MBS the role provides assistance and support in the following areas:
- Support for teaching faculty
- Planning, logistics and administrative support related to degree programs
- Compliance with applicable University policies
Some key accountabilities will also include:
- Provide support and assistance to source and compile teaching/learning support materials as requested and required
- Provide timely and relevant advice and information to teaching staff on teaching timetables, scheduling changes and important dates and deadlines for the administration of academic programs.
- Provide assistance and support to all teaching staff and guest lecturers as required in the use of the LMS/Canvas, including user instructions and the provision of passwords and log-in details.
- Liaise with program and teaching staff to ensure subject/course outlines and course materials are available to students
- Develop exam schedule and arrange exams for the S/EMBA programs
- Ensure teaching evaluations are conducted for each subject within the defined parameters
- Contribute to the ongoing review of administration procedures, work practices and systems and identify and recommend opportunities for improvement
About you
As a highly organized and collaborative individual, you will bring to us strong administration skills and ideally some program management experience gained within the higher education sector. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to use time and resources effectively, prioritise tasks and meet competing and conflicting deadlines. You will also be an advanced user of Learning Management System to advise instructors and troubleshoot problems.
