About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and client-orientated professional to join our motivated Accident and Health Underwriting team in Perth. This role will report into the National Accident and Health Manager.
This role will see responsibility for:
- Development of business opportunities within the Accident and Health Lines segment
- Manage a profitable Accident and Health Lines portfolio
- Communicate DUAL’s underwriting appetite to broking partners
- Developing and maintaining broker relationships
- Maintaining industry networks
- Contribute to the training and development of underwriting staff
- Negotiating rates/ terms with brokers
- Following up offers of quotations/ renewals
With a minimum of five years’ experience in Accident and Health Lines Insurance you will demonstrate confidence in managing multiple clients including both renewals and new business, be comfortable providing training, guidance and mentorship to fellow staff as well as presenting to external clients.
Your interpersonal skills and passion for quality service allow you to effectively build and maintain successful relationships and manage service standards by timely response to broker requests.
If you are currently a A&H Underwriter, Senior Underwriter with experience in other lines of business or a Broker looking to make a career change, we would love to hear from you! Your application will be considered.
