Creston Health is a new health care business providing corporate services to medical specialists in Western Australia with a view to expand this service across other states in the near future. We are a small team with a proven track record in managing health care businesses in Australia. We are looking for candidates that are excited about being part of something new and keen to take on the challenges that come with a growing business. Qualifications & experience
- Experience with Xero and MYOB accounting software
- Experience with medical practice software is favourable (for example Genie)
- Experience with more complicated payroll that requires additional calculations and considerations
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper (preferably in a medical services setting)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll for both salaried employees as well as medical specialists
- Generating invoices as part of re-charging costs between business units
- Month end close including posting manual journals
- Submission of BAS / IAS returns
- Liaising with tax accounts around year end company tax returns
- Maintenance of accounting software (MYOB & Xero)
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts and to provide insights into the businesses financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
