With the growth and development of our teams and business we are now on the lookout for a new energized Accommodation Revenue Manager to become part of the Star Family in Brisbane.
From Brisbane to the beaches of Bargara and tropical Townsville, we are looking for someone who is ready to Check In and make a difference in growing our portfolio.
The Role
This position is to work with Managers of each Accommodation Venue to ensure the business is optimising rates, distribution, yield analysis and oversee reservations across a multi-property enterprise.
We have had massive growth in business over last year with more accommodation rooms coming online later this year.
As Revenue Manager you will assist to help execute our revenue strategies including:
- Maximise revenue to achieve budget and revenue targets
- Ensure optimal presentation for business opportunities via digital content, branded websites, OTAs, GDS.
- Apply procedures and best practices within revenue and reservations departments.
- Understanding market trends and demand opportunities.
Main duties include:
- Responsible for revenue and reservations
- Clear understanding of budgets and hotel performance, assist with reporting
- Group reservations
- Maintaining strong business relationships with clients, market managers, companies and agents.
- Training and support for PMS across multiple properties
- Assist with revenue/yield analysis and strategies, guide pricing and demand for dynamic rates
- Rate loading and channel management
- Assisting with processing contracted rates, procuring corporate and government business
- Regulate brand standards, procedures and best practices for revenue and reservations
- Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations and night audit department
- Maintain professional language and style of writing in all communications
The successful applicant will have
- A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in reservations/front office
- A passion for revenue and sales
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Work well as a team member and autonomously when required
- Proficient in hotel PMS an advantage
