Your Role
Reporting to our Director of Revenue, you will hold a key role in gathering critical data for all departments of the hotel including research, forecast preparation and revenue strategy implementation.
This role can be based at either of our hotel properties, Dorsett Melbourne (Melbourne CBD) or Dorsett Gold Coast (Broadbeach).
Your role and responsibilities may include:
• Liaising with key stakeholders within the hotels including Sales and Marketing, Reservations and Hotel Operations teams
• Communicate key event and high demand periods
• Lead or assist in projects as required
• Attend, contribute &/or lead any meetings requiring revenue management contribution
• Perform and report on any commercial analysis as required
• Manage pricing and yielding decision in the hotel RMS (IDEAS G3)
• Monitor and review competitor strategies
Why YOU
• You have a reservations or revenue background within hotels or the travel industry
• You have strong numerical, analytical and computer skills
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, problem solving and time management skills
• You have an understanding of revenue management principles and practices
• Have an understanding and excellent working knowledge of Excel and other key systems such as Opera Reporting and Analytics, IDEAS and Delphi
• You are a strong communicator and work well in a team environment
• You hold full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Resident)
