Your primary responsibility is to maximising revenue opportunities through focused yield management practices and strategies and deploy distribution strategies to achieve revenue targets.
As part of this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in revenue management, able to provide reports on market intelligence, business climate, economic and occupancy trends and buying patterns.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing occupancy, revenue and yield in line with company procedures
- Understanding and working with Systems to update allocations, allotments and rates on third party websites, hotel website and manage the channel management system
- Optimizing RevPAR by analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies and ensuring strong market mix
- Conducting ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition
- Completing various reports and analyse the data and recommend solutions to improve revenue
- Work in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing team on maximising all revenue opportunities
- Assess, manage and analyse pricing strategies and Identify new revenue opportunities
Skills and Experience required
- 2 years previous experience as a Revenue Manager
- Forecasting and reporting experience
- Demonstrated ability to work to targets and budgets
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Hotel Reservations and Revenue Management System
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Proactive and an ability to use initiative
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Part time 25 hours - $60k plus monthly bonuses
