The Role
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in nurturing deep connections with our Retailer partners and other key stakeholders in the ACT, including Access Canberra, ACT Government and Distributors. You will be responsible for managing the Retailer relationship and collaborating with multiple teams to achieve mutual objectives by understanding needs and developing strategies to address them, increase sales, and grow the account.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Retailers to deliver valuable outcomes for them and their customers
- Provide support to the Head of Retail Accounts to achieve company targets on profitability and cost reduction
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure successful delivery of contractual KPIs
- Oversee Retailer engagement, campaign planning, and rollout programs
- Lead the execution of proposals, presentations, and discussions with Retailers and other key relationships.
- Drive pre-sales activities by providing business, technical, and product knowledge
- Manage performance incident processes and ensuring corrective action plans are enacted.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment frameworks
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in a complex key account management role
- Experience in Metering or the Utilities sector will be highly advantageous
- Experience in managing Government accounts and/or Government-owned enterprises is a plus
- Strategic engagement, project management, and delivery experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
