Job DescriptionThe role of the Nine Radio Account Executive is to work closely with the Sales Executive in Nine Radio with key tasks in achieving revenue targets for an assigned media agency portfolio.
The Account Executive for Nine Radio is a major day-to-day contact for the media planners/buyers and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Providing professional support and co-ordination as well as performing administrative project work using software tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
- Liaising with advertising agencies via telephone to coordinate bookings, revisions and rates for advertising campaigns
- Communicating with clients to ensure smooth running of advertising campaigns - such as confirming bookings with agency/client via email or phone
- Accommodating and prioritising a number of concurrent advertising campaigns at the same time
- Data entry & use of specialist software (training provided)
- Building strong & effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
- A university degree with a background in media, marketing or business
- Demonstrated experience within sales, in a client marketing department or within a media agency
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people and relate to people at all levels of client/agency organisations
- Confident, self-motivated and demonstrates initiative
