Account Executive - Workcover

We are working with a long-standing insurance broking and risk consulting firm that needs a new Account Executive - to join the team.
This position suits experienced Case managers or occupational rehab providers who have multiple years of experience and/or hold RTW qualifications.
This position reports to the divisional manager and will see you work alongside the senior workplace solutions team to gain further understanding as you build your repertoire of skills in this space.
As this is a newly created position, You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive and engaged client relationship built on providing expert advice for any claim-impacting and related questions or concerns. you will maintain a portfolio of accounts providing your specialist return to work expertise across a portfolio of complex worker's compensation claims with the overall goal of meeting business performance targets and deducing premium impacts associated with these claims.
Requirements

• Demonstrated claims and/or Occupational rehabilitation experience within the NSW Worker's Compensation scheme is required.
  
• Effective work management/time management and organisational skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Willing to learn and develop your knowledge and skills in worker's compensation
  
• Influential and calm in all situations, including conflict, able to gain a resolution
  
• Customer service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction
  
• Client relationship management skills

• Highly developed Communication Skills, both written and verbal

• Understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation

Position Responsibilities:

Some of the duties of this role will include:

• Actively manage a portfolio of clients requiring return to work and case management, assessing the current risks, liabilities and opportunities of a client
  
• Utilising your knowledge and skills in return to work and injury management, and exceptional stakeholder management skills, to drive optimal return to work outcomes.
  
• Working with clients to provide training and education to develop and implement a risk management plan to reduce the incidents of claims
  
• Regular face-to-face meetings with larger clients and frequent digital meetings in line with the client’s expectations/preferences.
  
• Build close relationships with key day-to-day contacts and support the company to develop relationships at senior levels.
  
• Ensure key RTW-related activities are actioned and resolved appropriately within prescribed timeframes.
  
• Building communication lines with all associated medical and support providers to ensure a safe and sustainable return to work
  
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
