About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Account Manager, who has superior customer service skills and takes pride in their work. Working with external customers, Customer retention and selling SPW products will be the primary focus and key priority in this role. You will be dealing with customers face to face, via email and over the phone, problem solving their equipment needs and providing exceptional customer service. This is a hybrid role with 70% Account Management and 30% Business Development.
What you will enjoy doing
- You will win new and competitor welding products business within the North QLD region
- Further you shall identify and quickly close out small wins, whilst managing longer, higher value and complex sales cycles effectively
- Also you will also manage your opportunity pipeline to ensure the business is achieving KPI’s and targets
- You will provide technical support to run welding and cutting equipment demonstrations at customer sites
- Additionally you will identify new business initiatives and develop sales strategies that deliver an excellent client journey
- You will work alongside your colleagues on site and the wider SPW business to increase the impact of our overall strategy
What makes you great
- Year 12 or equivalent. Trade qualification or engineering qualification (highly regarded)
- Proven commercial acumen with Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Understanding of modern business systems with SAP skills desirable
- Strong sales experience, preferably within a industrial sales or wholesale environment
- Advanced welding, cutting and product application knowledge desirable
- Knowledge of Pricing, lead generation, and contract management
- Hold a valid driver's license
