The Backstory:

EzyDog is a renowned pet accessories brand established in 1995 that garners a global following of devoted customers. The Role: 

This role will service an important client portfolio of retail stores, vets and other industry professionals. EzyDog is represented in over 850 pet speciality stores in Australia we are extremely proud of our brand positioning. This Account Management role will specifically focus on securing new customers (growth), managing current customers (retention) and developing new opportunities with current customers (develop). To be successful in this role you will need to be sales focused, a self-starter and have excellent time management. You are required to maintain face to face customer contact via store visits and meet EzyDog’s service interval requirements. A successful 18 months in this role will see you transition to a key account management position with potential to represent EzyDog at national and international trade events. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Account management, including exceptional and efficient customer service to our valued client base.
  • Prepare and execute sales calls using weekly run sheet and CRM (high % F2F customer contact).
  • Retail staff training (critical part of role whereby we demonstrate the USPs of our product range).
  • Stock management for our retail customer base and ensure that our POS is industry best practice. 
  • Involved in strategy development designed to grow region by 7-15% annually via organic growth and new ranging. 
  • Attend key account meetings on a bi-monthly basis. 

Requirements: 

We are looking for a self-motivated salesperson who is competitive, likes taking initiative, is great with people, and enjoys working in a structured sales environment. You will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment which supports your ability to deliver industry leading sales results.

The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:

  • Customer service and sales experience (4+ years), preferably in an outbound / F2F role.
  • Intermediate Microsoft suite and CRM experience.
  • Highly effective communications & negotiation skills
  • Alibility to manage customer accounts and offer exceptional service in line with business direction
  • Drive above budget results, new business opportunities and retain current customers 
  • Ability to liaise with all relevant departments to drive mutually profitable outcomes 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and pro-active environment

The ideal candidate should be passionate about dogs, have some pet industry experience and love outperforming. They should have an excellent work ethic, be available to travel interstate, be highly motivated and a genuine desire to work for a premium brand. You should be able to clearly articulate how you have achieved sales growth in prior roles and why this position appeals to you.
