Join ABA as a Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our dynamic organisation. In this exciting position, you will support the Executive Officer (EO) and the Board of Directors, ensuring financial stability, legal compliance, and the achievement of ambitious financial goals. You will drive financial excellence by leading the development of our annual budget, empowering cost-centre managers to achieve success, and spearheading the annual audit. Additionally, you will oversee essential financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring seamless processes across the Association. Your expertise will guarantee ABA adheres to accounting standards and meets all compliance requirements. What you'll bring
- Experience in leading an organisation's finance and compliance
- Demonstrable experience working closely with a Board, chief executive and senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data succinctly to lay audiences
- Outstanding analytical and interpretive ability
- Qualified Certified Practicing Accountant / Chartered Accountant

This role has been classified as SCHADS Level 5, $96,096 per year. As an employee of a registered charity, you are able to salary package up to $18,550 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year.
