Account Manager required for an established business in Sydney for Newcastle and Central Coast Territory
Location: This role will primarily be work from home with a strong focus on client visits and occasional days in the Sydney office based close to Olympic Park.Our Client is a leading provider of quality auto refinishing products and services. They are committed to delivering excellence in the automotive refinishing industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team and drive the business with a territory along the Central Coast, Newcastle and regional NSW.
Job Description:
As an Account Manager in the auto refinishing business, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our customer base. This position requires a candidate with previous experience in paint and paint-related products or auto consumables. You will be responsible for servicing existing clients, generating new business opportunities, and increasing the share of our existing customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated area.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using our range of auto refinishing products.
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback.
- Attend the office in Western Sydney one day per week for meetings and coordination.
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development, with a focus on paint and paint-related or auto consumable products.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
- Knowledge of the automotive refinishing industry is a strong advantage.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
