The Opportunity:
The position of Account Manager will see you managing a portfolio of customer accounts while tracking projects and looking for new direct sales opportunities. There is a good balance between internal and external account management and business development with the requirement being to clearly present and explain the technical aspects of the product, problem solve and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management of key customers - liaise with builders, trades, fabricators, and associated key stakeholders
- Track, develop, and win new business opportunities across a diverse range of building projects including Retail, Sporting, Industrial, and Construction
- Deliver customer presentations clearly and explain the technical benefits of the product range
- Liaise internally and externally on dispatch and production requirements and resolve
Key Requirements:
- A proven track record of at least 2 years in business development, account management, and sales in the construction, industrial, building materials, or related industry
- The ability to track projects, identify key stakeholders and solution sell
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel and Outlook, and ideally (but not critical) Pronto exposure
- Highly motivated, results-driven, team player with the ability to problem-solve
