About the Opportunity
We are looking for passionate Reconciliation Management Officer with a can-do attitude who will be responsible for the investigation and processing of clearing account items and customer refund applications. You will also oversee the timely distribution of revenue collections to stakeholders ensuring that the integrity of TRELIS Licence records is maintained. You will provide ongoing customer service in relation to responding to account enquires, so if you’re a people person with skills in research and problem solving, then this role is ideal for you.
We currently have two fixed term full-time opportunities for 6 months with the possibility of extension or permanency. More vacancies will become available to fill within 12 months.

About You
- Ensure all payments are made in a timely, efficient, and effective manner to meet customer needs and satisfy stakeholders.
- Investigate and prepare various payments including refunds cheques, electronic funds transfer files, stop payments and cancelled cheques.
- Investigates and processes customer refund applications in accordance with the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 and the Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive) Act 2008 and Department of Transport (DoT) policies procedures.
- Responds to account enquiries from the metro and regional Licensing centres, Customer Contact Centre staff and the general public on a range of payments.
- Performs duties in accordance with the Financial Management Act 2006 (FMA) and the Treasurer‘s Instructions (TI‘s).
- Cultivate strong working relationships and be able to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
