About the role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Customer Community and Engagement team, to join a specialist Customer Growth area focusing on working with Developers to provide water and wastewater servicing strategies for developments across metropolitan and regional South Australia. This role facilitates the delivery of infrastructure solutions from concept to connection for new and existing customers in the development industry in order to enable economic growth.
You will play a pivotal role leading a small team working confidently and collaboratively, developing long-term professional relationships both internally and externally. Implementing project management methodologies from concept to connection, identifying opportunities for process improvement and delivering a positive customer experience.

The Account ManagerDevelopment Services will operate with a solution and resolution focus to deliver land development infrastructure projects in line with commercial objectives and performance targets, while keeping the customer a core focus.
You will thrive working under pressure, implementing your excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, remaining agile and able to apply problem solving strategies and negotiation skills to reach optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Delivery - promote and grow long term sustainable relationships with customers while assisting with the delivery of infrastructure, considering customer impact, experience and benefit understanding cost and resource implications.
- Commercial - drive the delivery of Land Development infrastructure projects in line with commercial objectives and performance targets.
- Industry regulation and policy - ensure the implementation of innovative and creative solutions are in line with industry and SA Water regulation and policies.
- Continuous improvement - responsible for the delivery of continuous improvement, with a solution focused approach leading to resolution.
- Degree in Business, Commercial or Engineering or significant industry experience in Project Management, and or Account Management - Essential.
- Demonstrated experience leading and influencing internal and external relationships - Essential.
- Superior communication skills through various mediums - Essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of the principles of water and wastewater design and construction - Desirable.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant legislation as it relates to the development industry - Desirable.
- Drivers license - Essential.
