About the opportunity:
As a motivated sales hunter and Account Manager, you have the opportunity to join a leading ASX100 listed player in the industrial/heavy industry sector. There are two positions available - one will be responsible for the western suburbs whilst the other on the eastern suburbs. The Account Managers will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts across a well-established customer portfolio of $25-$40 million, and driving new business to expand your region. The roles require a proactive business development element, with a high level of adaptability required to navigate the dynamic and competitive market landscape. You will handle all contracts, client set-up’s, pricing and quoting processes, and actively engage with prospects and clients on the field for circa 4 days per week. A key element will be for you to monitor and analyse competitors' activities, in order to propose a value add from a service perspective and drive growth.
About You:
You are a forward-thinking professional with diverse sales and account management experience in the industrial/heavy industry sectors. You will have proven success in an outward facing “hunting” sales role, combined with a customer and relationship focus to nurture and grow existing client accounts. You can demonstrate an understanding of sales cycles, managing an order book to fill any gaps, along with knowledge of pricing, margins, and sales dynamics. Possessing innate networking skills, you excel at cultivating valuable professional relationships and exhibit personable and charismatic traits for quick rapport.
