What You’ll Do

SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a full time permanent  Account Manager for QLD/NSW to join our SIXT Sales team. 

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of corporate accounts and the sourcing of new business opportunities. The role will also look for opportunities to grow incremental business from existing accounts and move where possible from secondary preferred to primary preferred supplier.  

This role is open to candidates in Sydney and Queensland. We offer a hybrid work arrangement with the opportunity to work from our Sydney CBD, Sydney Olympic Park, Coolangatta or Brisbane offices and from home.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying new business opportunities in the QLD/NSW car rental sector and managing a portfolio of existing accounts
• Preparing sales submissions, reports, tenders and presentations
• Proactively working with Franchisees to win national business
• Working with TMC’s to support and win corporate accounts
• Collate and analyse data on industry trends to underpin analysis of existing and potential growth opportunities within your accounts
• Assessing viability/financial impact of acquisition targets and new opportunities
• Work with the different states to ensure all business opportunities are coordinated across Australia for any national accounts
• Retaining corporate portfolio at profitable margins or re-negotiate
• Secure profitable business in line with the company’s profit contribution margin guide

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years Account Management or sales experience in a B2B sales lead organization
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate & industry partners, other industry associations, operators and trade partners
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Demonstrated effective usage of interpersonal skills along with communication style to influence others
• Proven ability to exceed customer expectations in terms of the service and quality of product offered
• Ability to travel nationally as required
