We are currently seeking an Account Manager - Specialty Gas Control to join our Preston based team who will be responsible for driving distributor and end user sales growth for specific target accounts to execute our Specialty Gas equipment growth strategy. This is a specialised and technical field sales role selling equipment and solutions to a diverse customer base.
This newly created role reports to the Sales Manager - Specialty Gas Control and is responsible for:
- Planning and prioritising personal sales activities and customer and prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims.
- Plan and manage territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
- Actively support the brand building process through the honouring of core values.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
- Deliver customer training programs with support from internal colleagues as required.
- Oversee customer issues and ensure timely, effective, and sustainable problem resolutions.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is preferably tertiary qualified and had exposure to Specialty/Medical Gases. You will be experienced in key account development, be a good communicator and planner. You will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and exceptional analytical skills. A willingness to travel, including interstate is a part of this role.
