Tell me about the role
As the ANZ Account Manager at Zensai, you will primarily focus on managing and growing Zensai’s presence within the Australia and New Zealand market. This role demands a strategic approach to managing the sales team, optimizing sales operations, and enhancing the overall sales strategy in the region. While you will still engage in direct sales, your primary focus will be on driving team performance and achieving revenue targets through effective sales management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and elevate Zensai's business presence and market share across Australia and New Zealand by directing the sales team's activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
- Provide leadership and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop targeted strategies for the region, including localized campaigns, seminars, and industry events.
- Enhance team performance through regular reviews, training, and development opportunities.
- Engage with key clients to support complex negotiations and strategic sales.
- Maintain a clear focus on managing customer relationships to increase retention and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Report on regional sales results and forecast future sales trends to assist in strategic planning.
Core activities include:
- Managing and supporting the sales team in their sales cycles.
- Strategizing with internal teams to improve sales tools and processes.
- Overseeing the creation and delivery of effective client proposals and presentations.
- Collaborating with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and marketing team members to refine demand generation in your territory.

Job requirements
What skills or experience are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in sales management with a focus on software-as-a-service (SaaS) within enterprise environments.
- Strong background in Microsoft Office 365 and its integration within business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and manage large territories effectively.
- Proven success in strategic sales planning and execution, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent understanding of CRM platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Digital Innovation, is preferred.
