Are you ready to dive into the world of finance and make a difference? We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join us as in Accounts Payable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Finance Team in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and Asset Control as needed.
- Keeping our financial transactions, accounts, and records in tip-top shape.
- Helping us maintain our electronic accounting databases.
- Registering accounting records in our electronic document management system.
- Sharing your insights on how we can make our accounting systems and processes even better.
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Essential - Current National Police Clearance
- Progression towards or Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience working within a financial environment including practical accounting and reconciliation skills.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft suite of products and computerised financial and accounting software systems.
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the application of accounting principles.
- Excellent customer service and sound interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
