We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team. Offering a wide range of products such as lithium batteries, VRLA batteries, solar energy storage systems, and turnkey energy solutions, Valen Power focuses on understanding client needs, designing custom solutions, and providing ongoing support throughout the system's lifecycle. Their services include technical scoping, custom design, and installation of energy storage systems.Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through regular client meetings both in-office and on-site.
- Lead generation and identify growth opportunities through networking and industry knowledge, including managing new business opportunities and inbound inquiries.
- Progress and win new opportunities by following the Valen Sales Process, generating proposals, presentations, and quotes for customers.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding of new customers and manage the transition of new business.
- Conduct account review meetings to maintain and grow existing customer relationships, generating quotes and proposals, and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales plans, forecasting sales targets, and creating growth projections, including strategies to win high-value clients.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement effective marketing plans and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, using it to track all sales activities and ensuring it is up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with Valen’s Work Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems, taking responsibility for personal health and safety.
- Respond to customer inquiries within specified SLA timelines, providing timely and effective communication, and submit weekly reports summarizing sales activities, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Proven track record of account management, preferably in the electrical sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in CRM systems, with the discipline to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of your role and drive business growth.
