Full Time Accountant Wanted

• Salary Range：$65,000 – $80,000 gross per annum depending on experience.

Located in Hurstville, our boutique firm specializes in providing tax, business advisory and financial planning services to our wide range of clients. Due to growth in our company, we are now seeking a Tax and Business Advisory Accountant to join our friendly team.

You will be responsible for and involved with:

                •             Preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

                •             Preparing and submitting BAS/IAS statements

                •             Handling various other statutory requirements (superannuation, payroll tax, Work Cover etc.) to ensure compliances with legal obligations

                •             Providing advice and support to clients including tax advice, bookkeeping support, selection of accounting software and other comprehensive business support 

                •             Liaising directly with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other Regulatory Bodies, representing clients and managing tax-related enquiries and issues

                •             Providing tax planning services to a diverse range of clients

                •             Advising on the establishment of various business structures

                •             Managing compliance with ASIC regulations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting

About you

The successful candidate will have:

                •             2-4 years of experience working in a fast-paced Australian Business Accounting Practice

                •             A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or similar

                •             Strong communication skills and an eye for detail

                •             An ability to work independently and under pressure

                •             An ability to prioritise work effectively

                •             Experience with a variety of accounting packages, including HandiSoft, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.
