Our firm has experienced sustained growth and we are seeking an experienced, professional and passionate full-time Accountant to join our team.

Key duties
- Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF’s
- Consider and implement taxation planning strategies for the minimisation of income tax and state taxes such as stamp duty and land tax
- Consider and implement budgeting and cashflow strategies for a broad range of clients
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and FBT returns
- Liaise with clients and advise on technical matters and compliance obligations
- Liaise with the ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies including assisting in audits
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide technical support to clients for their in-house accounting systems and software
- Assisting in undertaking audits for self-managed super funds
- Support the team with other tasks as they may arise
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Formal accounting qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good time management in respect to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office
Benefits
- Full-time position
- Annual salary range between $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation
- Actual renumeration commensurate with skills and experience
