We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant/ Manager to join our small, dedicated team, with flexible working arrangements on offer. We understand that a ‘flexible arrangement’ will look a little different for everyone, so we are open to working with you to achieve the right balance.

About the opportunity
- Provide ongoing support, training & development to junior team members
- Working with and building relationships with clients in a diverse range of industries in the small to medium business space
- Assist with a range of advisory services
- Assist in the annual compliance across all entity types
- Assist the team with preparation of business activity statements
- Assist the team to deliver Bookkeeping services using Xero and add ons
- Assist with varied support to clients
- This role can be adapted to suit the skills and experience of the successful candidate
What you will bring
- Enjoy working with and helping clients achieve their goals
- Experience in public practice in Australia
- Tech-savvy
- Great communication skills
- Xero champion
- Experience with FYI Docs & Fathom Reporting (desired, not essential)
- A strong, professional work ethic, with high attention to detail
- A team player with a strong client focus
- Have the ability to think outside of the box and a desire to problem-solve
- Demonstrate initiative and have a proactive approach to managing your workload
- Driven, ambitious and eager to learn
- An eye for finding improvements, ask and understand why
This is a full time position with an attractive salary which will be based on the experience and skills of the successful candidate. Whilst we are looking for this to be a full time position, we are open to negotiating for the right candidate.
