About this opportunity
Reporting to our Payroll and IR Manager, you will be part of a team focused on managing the payroll of the network of corporate offices and provide support to the franchise network. You will also be mentoring and coaching the wider Payroll team.
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly employee payroll data accurately and to deadline Process, maintain and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Maintain specialist knowledge of Payroll Practices, Employment Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation.
- Complete all necessary compliance lodgements for single touch payroll, superannuation, and payroll tax.
- Participate in the Payroll Implementation project, including requirements gathering, data analysis and manipulation, data migration, testing and go-live support and change management.
- Prepare payroll reporting for management as required.
- Drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processes.
- Backfill Payroll Manager when required.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar senior Payroll position,
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects, preferably implementation of systems.
- Experience using Reckon, Aurion or Netsuite preferred.
- A quick learner and an effective user of technology.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
