You will be responsible for providing financial information to all department managers across TSA Group.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of:
- Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconcilliations
- Maintain accurate accounting records
- Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, overseeing fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Managing foreign currency payments
- Preparation of payroll tax, reconciliation of superannuation payments and check of BAS calculations
- Assist with reporting consolidated results at a group level
- Assist with monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, and internal management reports
- Assisting in preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
- Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation
- Supervision of any Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff
- Training and mentoring junior staff
- Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to
- Studies current and new legislation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
QualificationsAbout You:- Must have a Diploma or equivalent in Finance/Accounting/Business/Commerce
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis
