We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work within a small dedicated and capable team to deliver superior financial outcomes to the business. Your role will challenge you to use your technical knowledge and previous commercial business experience to support the financial management of the business. This role will undertake a broad range of responsibilities, being financial, management and project accounting, assisting with process improvement and other initiatives to deliver end to end financial solutions.

You will have demonstrated capability in the following areas: 

• Knowledge and application of financial fundamentals including but not limited to financial and management accounting, taxation, asset, capital. and audit processes.
• Month End Process and reporting experience including review, analysis, and preparation of reconciliations.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse financial and operational information and work collaboratively with the team to improve business performance.

Ideally, you will also have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience 
• Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills as part of interfacing with Management and other key stakeholders.
• A high degree of computer literacy including a sound working knowledge of Excel.

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualifications in Accounting/Commerce or Business with CA or CPA.

The role is residentially based in Bowen, North Queensland.
