The ABM Group has continuously traded within the Australian coal industry for over 20 years specialising in complex ground recovery situations, coal development, drift drivage, secondary support, VCD installations, robotic shotcreting, conveyor installations and maintenance and general underground operations.
Our operations have expanded over QLD and NSW and The ABM Group’s enviable growth and market position is cemented daily through the collective efforts of our skilled and enthusiastic personnel. We currently have a position available for an Administrator to join our dynamic team for 6 months providing Maternity Leave coverage.
What the role will involve…
- Onboarding of new recruits - coordinating required medical assessments, set up within our Employee Platform and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided
- Assist with all administrative matters around the employee life cycle including off boarding/exit interviews, probationary reviews, company transfers, reporting and statistics etc
- Data entry and general supporting to the management and site teams providing a diverse range of general administrative duties
What we are looking for…
- Highly motivated, adaptable and reliable individual with a can-do attitude
- Experience working within an office environment
- Experience with recruitment and on-boarding practices, within the mining industry would be desirable
- Competent use in Microsoft packages a must
- Experience working within Mining Company databases eg Pegasus, GWOS and/or HRIS desirable
- Excellent attention to detail a must along with organisational and time management skills
- An ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of the team
