Who you are:
A passionate accounting professional with at least two years accounting experience, strong excel and system skills along with a can-do attitude as well as a customer service centric ethos. You share the enthusiasm in our journey to making Kennards Self Storage a famous Australian Household brand.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Key driver in the preparation, completion and posting of month end reporting, including tax compliance processing.
- Prepare and process journal entries including shared costs allocation, prepayments, accrual, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Administrate and manage corporate credit cards and expenses including reviewing, coding, and reconciling transactions.
- Manage lease invoicing, payment, related month end processes and reporting.
- Collate and analyse monthly P&Ls with commentaries for internal and stakeholders.
- Provide support with year-end activities such as statutory accounts, tax return preparation, and both internal and external audits.
- Provide Payroll duties support.
- Business partnering with managers to assist in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support team members to resolve business and finance related enquiries and other ad-hoc requirements.
