Housing a fantastic team and offering a highly collaborative, flexible and professional working environment, we are now seeking an experienced accountant to join the team in a senior role within the business.
Boasting an enviable reputation, this business is well respected both locally and in Melbourne. Reporting to the director, the key focus of this role is role is to successfully deliver financial outcomes through the provision of financial analysis and key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting clients with general business accounting and taxation
- BAS/IAS
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for Sole Traders, Trusts, Companies, SMSFs and Partnerships
- Taxation Planning and Structuring Advice
- Cashflow projections and budgeting
To be the successful candidate, we are looking for the following experience and skill set:
- 3-5 years minimum in a similar accounting position
- ideally experience within a medium to large corporate work environment
- Reckon Online
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB and Class SMSF software
- High levels of attention to detail, accuracy, self motivated and positive
- The desire to work within a close knit team environment
- Commitment, strong work ethic and strong sense of responsibility
