About the Role:
The Accountant – Accounts Payable Manager role will report to the Group Financial Controller and be a key member of Aury Australia's Shared Services team. The positions will be based at our Rutherford facility in a permanent, full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Management: Oversee Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
- Staff Expense and Reimbursement Management: Oversee staff expense processes, including accurate reconciliation and reporting.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including income tax and GST.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- System Management: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central) for financial management, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system functionality.
- International Liaison: Communicate effectively with international clients, staff and Senior Leadership Team, including with Head Office (China), to support financial operations and reporting.
As required, Support the Financial Controller to:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central), including Continia Expense Management.
- Understanding of GST in application to processing of Accounts Payable and expenses.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of Office suite (Outlook and Word).
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance in different jurisdictions.
- Experience in a multinational corporation or working with international clients. (Desirable)
