Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns and BAS’s for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
- Providing high-quality business and taxation advice, including tax planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasts.
- Liaising with statutory authorities such as the ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients.
- Nurturing positive client relationships, including attending client meetings.
- Offering solutions and advice to improve processes and generate new ideas for clients.
- Collaborating with the Client Manager and the team to ensure timely completion of client work.
- Preparing correspondence to clients and other relevant bodies as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus, we support staff who wish to study.
- Minimum of 1 - 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
