The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, payroll, BAS payments, tax enquiries, superannunation updates, as well as the setup of new projects. Applicants MUST have experience working in the construction industry and possess strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and process subcontractor's/supplier invoices
- Ensure all payment requests are processed accurately and within the SOPA guidelines
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Review and submit monthly IAS/Quarterly BAS reports for all entities, and handle any related queries from the ATO as required.
- Prepare and review quarterly Superannuation reports.
- Maintain asset registers annually.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Setup new projects and enter client/project budgets
- Perform other tasks as required by the Financial Controller
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- MUST be CPA or CA qualifications.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ideally 3-5 years min experience within Finance or Accounting
- ONLY applicants that have worked within the Property / Construction industry will be considered
- Open to candidates wanting part-time also dependent on exp
