A Renowned Investment Manager requires a Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) with Superannuation experience to join Fund Management team.
Duties Include:-
- You will work closely with the Senior Stakeholders in the Finance Division including Directors and Senior Management
- You will have responsibilities across the complete Accounting & Finance spectrum including Financial Reporting, BAS, Statutory Accounting, Tax, Forecasting across Superannuation Funds & related Products
- Preparation and lodgement of APRA reporting, including responding to APRA queries and application of new reporting standards
- Key team player in relation to Year End Reporting Functions including Financial Statements, disclosures and preparation of board papers
- Preparation of annual tax provision calculations and lodgement with the ATO.
- Efficient and accurate reconciliation and processing of Accounts Payables, treasury functions and bank accounts
- Quality Assurance in terms of Compliance and Risk
- Ongoing Business Process Re-engineering and automation of processes where possible
Key Criteria :-
- Tertiary qualified in Accounting/Finance with a CA or CPA qualification preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance environment with Superannuation experience preferably in a Funds Management, Wealth or Custody organisation
- Flexible Team Player who is versatile and adaptable to the needs of the team and the tasks in hand
- Strong technical accounting ability and good understanding of Superannuation Funds
