Description
This position assists in the financial and management reporting requirements of the Group, including monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory and taxation compliance, and payroll. The key roles and responsibilities are listed below:
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in maintenance of the Argus Budget database, including monthly roll over, adding new projects and jobs, and importing data from Argus Developer and Timberline.
- Preparation and review of monthly variance reports.
- Provide information / assistance to Project Managers to aid in financial analysis of their reports.
- Assist in preparation of Group annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation and lodgment of Group taxation reporting
- Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in development/documentation of procedures.
- Assist with special projects.
- Other ad hoc tasks.
Profile
- Formal Accounting Qualification - CA/CPA - highly recommended for this role.
- Degree qualified in accounting and / or finance.
- Experience in similar position.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Responsible, honest, professional, friendly and co-operative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Offer
- $90,000 to $100,000 + superannuation (may be flex up for the right candidate)
- 12 month fixed term contract with a view to permanency
